A Burkinabè agribusiness, building a competitive African supply chain

Prola-Sub SARL, registered as a société à responsabilité limitée (SARL) in 2023, specialises in producing, processing, and marketing local agri-food products from Sub-Saharan Africa. Burkina Faso grows cashew, mango, sesame, and more at real quality, but too much of it leaves the country as raw commodity and too much is lost between harvest and market — that's the problem the company works on.

Vision: Build a solid, vertically integrated value chain for the agri-food industry in Sub-Saharan Africa — a sustainable approach to adding value to local products.

Mission: Develop and promote local Burkina Faso products on the international market.

We work on both ends of the value chain. On the trade side, we source, quality-check, pack, and export to buyers in Europe, Asia, and the Americas — and provide agro-industrial and agro-economic consulting: value-chain analysis, assessment of farmer organisations, and advice to agricultural entrepreneurs on resilient, inclusive economic models. In the United States, Prola-Sub works with food-distribution partners including RangeMe, UNFI, and Whole Foods — strengthening trade between Burkina Faso and the US and bringing sustainable, high-value products to both markets.
